A school summer fair runs on a small mountain of kit that somebody has to move. Behind the bunting there are gazebos, trestle tables, tombola prizes, tea urns and borrowed games. Ferrying it all in parents’ cars is slow and disorganised. By contrast, one well-loaded van from our van hire in Warrington fleet does the job in a single trip.
Moving Everything a Good Fair Needs
Gazebos and tables need collecting from storage, and prizes come in from several donors. A van lets one or two volunteers collect the lot in a planned run. As a result, the field is set up while everyone else is still parking.
At the end of the day, it works in reverse. Borrowed kit goes back to its owners promptly, so nothing lingers in a cupboard until September.

A Van That Lifts the Heavy Work
Our Luton van with tail lift is a real asset here. The lift takes the effort out of full tea urns, boxes of bottles and folded gazebos. Also, every van stays within 3.5 tonnes, so any parent with a car licence can drive it.
Packing for a Smooth Set-Up
Pack the van in the order you will need things. First, load the gazebo and tables last so they come out first. Next, group each stall’s items in labelled boxes. Finally, keep fragile crockery and hampers padded near the top.
Close to the Schools
Our depot beside Asda at Cockhedge is close to schools across town. For example, families near Penketh van hire areas are only a short drive away. In addition, free secure parking lets a volunteer leave their own car with us.
Working With the Volunteers
Share the driving between a couple of named volunteers to spread the effort. Then use the van during the day for staging or the PA system. Before the event, the official GOV.UK load securing guidance is worth a quick read.
