In most cases the price you see is the price you pay however the prices shown on this website are a base guide price subject to booking 48hrs in advance from collection and the driver having a clean driving licence; Prices may increase subject to booking within 48hrs of collection or for other reasons such as driver qualification for instance if the driver has multiple number motoring convictions, accident claims,  excessive mileage requirements or hiring at peak times i.e. public holidays etc.

No! All we ask is that you pay using a physical Debit or Credit card and we retain your details on the rental agreement. Please note we do not accept contactless or virtual card payments.

Fully comprehensive

Yes but this facility is available only to companies with fully comprehensive fleet insurance policies.

In the event of a claim you agree to pay the insurance excess cost of £1000 in the event of any damage, fire or theft claim on the vehicle, or any third party claim made against our insurance policy. However for drivers under 25yrs of age or over 69yrs of age, European hires going overseas, hires involving towing, vehicles with more than 5 seats and vehicles over 3.5ton gross weight the excess will increase to £1500.

In some cases you can reduce the insurance excess to £500 by payment of £20 per day but this must be requested when making a booking and declared at commencement of hire. However this is not available for drivers under 25yrs of age and over 69yrs of age, European hires going overseas, hires involving towing, vehicles with more than 5 seats, and vehicles over 3.5ton gross vehicle weight.

Please note we are not always able to reduce the insurance excess you must request this prior to booking.

The hirer accepts full liability for any overhead damage caused to the vehicle regardless of cost.

No. Our policy on fuel is return the vehicle with the same fuel it had in it when you picked it up.

Mileage charges do apply see below for mileage allowances:-

4hr hire comes with a mileage allowance of 100 miles.

Same day hires come with a mileage allowance of 150 miles.

Full day hires (9AM or PM Collections) come with a mileage allowance of 200 miles per day.

Saturday Hires come with a mileage allowance of 200 miles

Super Sunday Deal comes with a mileage allowance of 200 miles.

Long Weekend special hires come with a mileage allowance of 400 miles for the weekend.

Weekend special hires (Saturday collection) comes with a mileage allowance of 300 miles for the weekend.

Weekly hires come with a mileage allowance of 750 miles per week.

You can collect your chosen vehicle from on of our local depots. Parking for your own vehicle is available upon request. WVH Van Hire accepts no responsibility for accident loss or damage to vehicles/persons whilst on the premises.

We can only hire to holders of a full UK driving licence. All other E.U or international licence holders please contact one of our offices and we will endeavour to assist 01925 577226.

Provided you have the Pink card it is possible to get clearance by telephone call from the DVLA but they charge for the information and we pass the charge on to you. The charge is £10, alternatively bring your national insurance number we can check it for you online for free.

Then we will accept any formal secondary form of photographic ID

The passport does not have to be valid

We require formal documentation showing the same address as your licence. Bank statements or similar are acceptable in hard copy or electronically by email in PDF format.

Yes. Any additional drivers must meet our strict criteria, attend our offices and complete and sign our documentation prior to driving our vehicle. Additional drivers are chargeable at £15 per driver per day.
