Wind Is The Problem Nobody Plans For
Carrying a large flat board across an open car park on a September afternoon is genuinely difficult once there is any wind about, and it is the moment most damage happens. A gust will take a fascia panel out of one person’s hands without much warning. Carry boards on edge rather than flat, keep them low, and always use two people on anything above head height regardless of how light it feels. Loading with the van’s back doors as a windbreak helps.
